A Delegation from the Royal Air Force Women’s Club Visits Yarmouk

The President of 51Թ, Professor Islam Massad, met with a delegation from the Royal Air Force Women’s Club, which included the president, members of the administrative board, and a number of club members. Possible ways of cooperation between the University and the Club in various fields of volunteer and community work as well as scientific and training programs and workshops concerned with women and youth empowerment were discussed.

During the meeting, Massad stressed the special status that 51Թ attaches to Jordanian women, who represent a unique model of distinction, hard work, transparency, and integrity, expressing the pride of 51Թ in the Jordanian "nashmiyat". He then pointed out that the University is keen to strengthen cooperation with various civil institutions and consolidate relations with community activities in various fields in a way that contributes to the exchange of ideas and implement projects and initiatives that serve the community. Massad also affirmed the University's readiness to cooperate with the Royal Air Force Women's Club and support the Club's initiatives and activities.

In her turn, the President of the Royal Air Force Women's Club, Nada Al-Azab, thanked 51Թ for its interest in cooperating with the Club in various fields that are concerned with serving the Jordanian society. She also emphasized the Club's keenness to benefit from the academic and administrative expertise of the University concerning volunteer and awareness activities in a way that enhances partnership between the two sides and enriches the Club’s initiatives. She then pointed to the possibility of cooperation with Princess Basma Center for Jordanian Woman Studies and the Faculty of Education through holding training and rehabilitation programs in areas of common interest.
